Enter earnings and deductions
Use the rate and deduction amounts from your records.
Regular earnings use the regular hours multiplied by the regular rate. Overtime earnings use the overtime hours and overtime rate you enter. Other earnings are added to those totals.
This browser calculator does not decide an overtime rate, calculate required tax withholding, download tax rules or pay a worker. Enter the correct values from the applicable payroll records.
Federal income tax, state/local tax, Social Security, Medicare and other deductions are entered amounts. Review their sum before saving the PDF.
For a simple arithmetic check, 40 hours at 25.00 is 1,000.00 gross; 150.00 in total deductions leaves 850.00 net. This example does not prescribe a tax rate or deduction amount.
Correct a negative, malformed or otherwise rejected number instead of bypassing the error. Check rounding in Review and in the saved PDF.
Amounts are in United States dollars (USD), including in Spanish. Use a dot for decimals (25.50) and commas only for thousands (1,250.00). Entering 1,300 means one thousand three hundred; 25,50 is rejected. Changing language does not convert the currency or change saved values.
